LASSER CONFERENCE ROOM SET UP

LASSER TV PRESENTATION SETUP

  • TURN both TVs on by pressing the HIDDEN button under the LG symbol for both TVs separately. The remote doesnt work well because it turns on one TV and turns off the other. (TO TURN OFF, LONG-press the HIDDEN button for 3-5 seconds)
  • When both are turned on, you should go to podium and right click on desktop and go to display settings.
  • Click on “Screen Resolution” on the left
  • Either the displays will looks like 2—4—3—1(initial half of the video) OR   2—3/4—1 (second half of the video). To switch between them you need to select either “4” or “3” screen and select “duplicate desktop on 3 & 4” option.
  • If they look like  2—4—3—1, then they are basically a long desktop which you can explore by moving mouse to the RIGHT. This is NOT GOOD for presentations.
  • YOU WANT 2—3/4—1 because as I show in the latter half of the video, this setting duplicates the desktop on 3 & 4 and the POWERPOINT presentation works great.
  • This arrangement also works great if you are presenting via ZOOM because you can then share the 3/4 screen (basically the duplicated TV screens) and then green square is shown around the both TV screens. You end up sharing the content of the powerpoint and not the presenter mode (which is on the PODIUM screen).

Now as far as projector is concerned, it seems like the hidden “1” in the above setup is the projector screen. When we turn that on, it MESSES things big time.. If people really want to use the projector for IMPAX or such, then use instructions below:

LASSER PROJECTOR PRESENTATION SETUP

  • FIRST turn OFF both TV screens by LONG PRESSING the HIDDEN TV button under the LG symbols for 3-5 seconds.
  • THEN turn on the projector, go to podium and right click on desktop and go to display settings.
  • Click on “Screen Resolution” on the left and then on the “1” screen
  • It might show that screen “1” is disconnected, either DUPLICATE desktop on both 1 & 2 or EXTEND desktop to “1” based on your preference.
  • Please note that TV screens need to be OFF if you want PROJECTOR to work smoothly.
