Code Triage / Code Orange Job Action Sheet Radiologists, Fellows & Residents

After Hours

Resident on duty

  • Go to a DS PACS Workstation.
  • Read Code Triage and/or Code Orange images.
  • Query most recent images – all areas.
  • Prioritize as appropriate
  • Write findings in the i-box
  • Contact Disaster Coordinator (lead rad tech) to verify the activation of “On Call Faculty/Fellows” is in progress. (Notify Disaster Faculty Officer – On Call Consult Radiologist first.
Normal Operational Hours
  • Go to DS PACS Workstation in your specialty area.
  • Call the Radiology Operations Center (3-2280) and report your current workstation.
In House Radiologists, Fellows and Residents
  • Read Code Triage and/or Code Orange images.
  • Query most recent images
  • Prioritize as appropriate
  • Write findings in the i-box
  • Faculty and/or Fellows, may dictate in talk and sign in lieu of i-box
Off Duty
  • Report to the Radiology Disaster Faculty Coordinator to obtain site assignment via phone and/ or in person.
Radiologists, Fellows
  • Call the Radiology Operations Center (3-2280) and report your current workstation.
  • Read Code Triage and/or Code Orange images.
  • Query most recent images
  • Prioritize as appropriate
  • Write findings in the i-box
Off Duty
  • Report to the Chief Resident and obtain site assignment via phone and/ or in person.
Radiology Residents
  • Call the Radiology Operations Center (3-2280) and report your current workstation location.
  • Read Code Triage and/or Code Orange images.
  • Query most recent images
  • Prioritize as appropriate
  • Write findings in the i-box
